Krupa and Nisha have been the best of friends for many years now.  As two yummy-mummies and glamorous business executives, they are taking off the heels and putting on their game faces this July for the Summer Wolf Run.

Located in the rolling landscapes of Stanford Hall estate, Leicestershire, the Wolf Run course combines challenging terrain with immense man-made structures to create the ultimate 10k obstacle course. This year, they have set themselves the demanding challenge of completing the course and want you to follow their journey and support them to achieve their modest goal of £2,000.  The charities’ that they will be supporting are Shama Women’s Center and Alex’s Wish. And here’s why:

About Shama

Shama is a well-established charity in the heart of Leicester, with over 35 years of community support provision. This inspiring charity selflessly helps save, educate, and empower local women to become independent. They have supported thousands of families with a bespoke and tailored package of support, and their dedication to the community is heart-warming.

Alex’s Wish

Alex is an amazingly inspirational young person whose innocent smile hides the tremendous pain he must endure. Alex’s Wish is a charity founded by Emma Hallam to raise awareness and support for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a life limiting, muscle weakening and wasting condition. The condition is usually picked up at the age of 4 and is more prevalent in boys. Children with this condition suffer significant barriers in life and most are unable to walk by the age of 12. Alex is a great ambassador for this amazing charity that is helping so many families in the same situation, whilst taking part in vital research to find a cure for this condition and offer hope to the next generation.

Krupa met us through her involvement with Shama Women’s Center, to ask if we would support her fundraiser. Here at EverythingCommunity we like to shine the spotlight on the good work individuals are trying to make in their local communities. So, we have given £200 towards the fundraiser to springboard them towards the £2,000 target they have set for themselves.

‘ It is really sweet of EverythingComunity to support my personal challenge in addition to supporting Shama Women’s Centre next month. Your donation will meet 10% of our goal which a great kick-start to the fundraiser. Thankyou so much. ’ Krupa
