Chris gave me your details as I was looking for branded mugs for our soft touch café, we are now open 3 days a week so would really like some printed reusable take away coffee cups to sell to our customers, also some printed (soft touch logo) coffee mugs to use in our café.
Soft Touch Arts is an award-winning Leicestershire Charity established in 1986. They encourage positive life changes to disadvantaged young people by focussing on arts, media, and music activities. See how you could utilise Soft Touch Arts activities here.
Without the security of a happy, stable home it can be hard for children and young people to do well at school and think of a positive future. In Leicester 35% (30,000+) children live in poverty – one of the highest levels of child poverty in England. Soft Touch has been using creative projects to engage with and transform the lives of young people in challenging life situations since 1986. Their projects unlock untapped potential and support the development of life skills, a sense of purpose and aspiration to do well. Another addition to their great services is the Soft Touch Café.
Put the Kettle on with Soft Touch Café
The Soft Touch Arts Café project are now offering a sit-in option to both new and old customers to enjoy food and drink as prepared by the young people involved in the charity. This self-funded enterprise gives their service members a chance to develop catering skills and real-life work experience. Plus, all the proceeds are invested back into the project to keep it running. They are open every Wednesday and Thursday morning, 11am- 2.30pm, at the charity’s HQ at 50 New Walk, Leicester, just opposite the city’s main museum.
EverythingBranded Stocks the Shelves for Soft Touch Arts
EverythingCommunity has supported the charity in the past and appreciated the chance to help them again, this time with the café. Now they are open to the public to sit-in, they wanted to offer some branded mugs for customers to sip from as well as takeaway cups to encourage customers to be more resourceful. Of course, this was no problem for EverythingBranded, so we happily donated these items in the hopes that it helps the customer experience. If you want to support this great local initiative, then you can find out more here.
